If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, give our clinic a call as soon as possible. We provide same day emergency dental care for existing patients, so don’t delay!
Knocked Out or Broken Tooth
If you can do so, attempt to place a knocked out tooth back into its socket while awaiting emergency dental care. If the tooth won’t stay in its socket, place it in a small container with your saliva or cool milk. Be careful not to touch the tooth root, as you may damage the delicate tissues. Seek dental care immediately for the best chance of having the tooth reattached.
In the case of a broken tooth, store the tooth fragment in a small container. Stop using that side of your mouth to chew and gently brush the area to remove debris and plaque. Seek dental care as soon as possible.
Lost Crown or Filling
Keep the lost crown or filling in a small container and seek emergency dental care as soon as possible. The longer you wait to reattach your crown or filling, the harder it will be to do so and the more at risk you are for further damage. Use a piece of sugar free gum as a protective layer on the tooth while waiting for care.
Pain and/or Swelling
Use a cold pack on the affected side of your face to reduce pain and swelling. Give our dental clinic a call and book an appointment as soon as you can. Pain and/or swelling can be the sign of a more serious issue.
Don’t delay - call us now for immediate emergency dental care.
